CorkFeltFusion panels merge the acoustic efficiency of PET Felt with the unique texture and warmth of natural cork leather — an eco-friendly material derived from the bark of cork oak trees. Designed to reflect natural aesthetics and ecological values through minimalist design, these 9mm panels are ideal for modern, conscious interiors.

Flat-format panels available in 8 distinct cork surface patterns, each can be paired with a selection of matching or contrasting PET Felt base colors. You can also choose between standard or flame-retardant versions, a variety of sizes, and optional self-adhesive backing for easier installation.

Installing cork panels on felt is a relatively simple process, involving gluing them to the wall. Felt provides an excellent base for mounting adhesives, providing additional sound insulation.

Apply the adhesive in dots or strips to the felt side of the cork panels. You can also apply a thin layer of adhesive to the wall with a roller if the adhesive is dispersive. Then, place the panel on the wall along the marked line. Press the panel firmly and evenly to ensure the adhesive bonds the felt to the wall.

Panels are available in: 9 mm, 12 mm. Both thicknesses are offered in standard and fire-rated (FR) versions. If a different thickness is required, please contact our sales team

Are Cork Felt Fusion™ panels fire rated?

Yes. Panels are available in two fire-performance options: Class C-s2, d0 (standard version), Class B-s2, d0 (FR version). Certificates are available upon request

What acoustic performance do Cork Felt Fusion™ panels provide?

Thanks to the PET felt acoustic core, Cork Felt Fusion™ panels offer excellent sound absorption and improved speech clarity. Adding an air gap behind the panels further enhances acoustic performance, especially in mid and low frequencies.

Is cork a sustainable material?

Yes. Cork is a natural cork leather derived from oak bark, sourced from Portugal. It is renewable, biodegradable and harvested without harming the tree. Combined with PET felt made from minimum 60% recycled plastic bottles, Cork Felt Fusion™ offers a responsible and environmentally conscious interior solution.

Can Cork Felt Fusion™ replace MDF panels?

Yes. Cork Felt Fusion™ panels are a high-performance alternative to traditional MDF panels. They provide: improved acoustic absorption, reduced weight, better sustainability profile, no formaldehyde-based core and cleaner and faster installation

How do I install Cork Felt Fusion™ panels?

For fast and clean installation, we recommend our StickyFelt™ self-adhesive solution, which allows precise mounting without additional glue. Panels can also be installed using mounting adhesive or mechanical fixings depending on the substrate.

How do I clean Cork Felt Fusion™ panels?

For regular maintenance, clean using water and a soft cloth. Lightly dampen the cloth and gently blot the surface. Avoid scrubbing or aggressive detergents. For deeper maintenance, we recommend using the DeFelt standard cleaning system designed for PET Felt-based products.

What is the abrasion resistance?

Cork Felt Fusion™ panels are tested for durability: martindale test – dry: 10,000 cycles, martindale test – wet: 3,000 cycles. Suitable for commercial interiors with moderate traffic
